The story in brief

Ten years on the street

Aruba Art Fair started in 2016 as a weekend of booths, murals and music on the streets of San Nicolas, Aruba’s second town. It is the closing weekend of Art Week Aruba: three nights in September, more than a hundred artists, crafters and performers, two galleries and the Mural Festival around the corner. Forbes called San Nicolas the Street Art Capital of the Caribbean in 2019; the town now has 80+ murals. The fair is produced by the ArtisA Foundation, founded by Tito Bolivar.
