Peter van den Huevel

Born in the Netherlands, Peter van den Heuvel embraced his artistic path at the age of 50, turning a lifelong admiration for Pop Art and expressionism into a vibrant creative practice. What began as a personal journey quickly grew into a powerful form of self-expression, guided by bold color, dynamic form, and emotional storytelling. Since stepping into the art world, Peter has become an active contributor to Aruba’s cultural scene. He has participated in multiple editions of the Aruba Art Fair—2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024—and has exhibited in numerous collective shows across the island. Peter’s work is inspired by the world around him. Through daring techniques and expressive themes, he creates striking visual narratives that reflect his deep passion for art as a medium of connection and personal transformation. His journey is a testament to the power of pursuing creativity at any stage of life.
