Rules & Regulations

SECOND ANNUAL ARUBA ART FAIR
24th,25th, and 26th of  November, 2017  from 6:00p.m. to 11:00p.m.

You are invited to submit your application to be an exhibitor at the 2nd Aruba Art Fair. The main purpose of the day is the exhibition and sale of original art. To add to the festivities and entice visitors to attend, we have also included performance arts including dance, theatre, and music, performed by groups from the local community and student organizations. Admission is AWG.17.50 for the public and FREE for the participating artists. All artists must go through the online application process and must submit 5 photos of the their work. Submission deadline for images and entry form through arubaartfair.com is October 30th, 2017. Applications will be reviewed and accepted by our jury on a rolling basis to ensure convenience for planning.

October 30, 2017: Artist application deadline
November 10, 2017: Artist acceptance/decline reply deadline to acceptance by jury
November 24, 2017: Artist check-in and setup at 5:00p.m.
November 24, 2017: Exhibition opens: 6:00p.m. – 11:00p.m.
November 25, 2017: Artist check-in and setup at 5:00p.m.
November 25, 2017: Exhibition opens to the public: 6:00p.m. – 11:00p.m.
November 26, 2017:  Artist check-in and setup at 5:00p.m.
November 26, 2017:  Exhibition opens to the public: 6:00p.m. – 11:00p.m.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Application process:
Each applicant must submit no later than October 30th, an application for the type of artwork he/she wishes to exhibit via www.arubaartfair.com

All works submitted will be considered for jurying based upon merit. Pure Aruba Events Foundation reserves the right to reject works that do not meet the professional standards listed here.

Standards and Rules:
In order to maintain the quality of Aruba Art Fair, artwork should be original, handmade work and the artisan must be present at the event. Mass-produced or commercial products will not be accepted. Crafts made from kits or designed after commercial kits, ceramics using manufactured molds as a base, plastic, dried or silk flower centerpieces, bazaar-type knick-knacks, wood-working and sewing from commercial patterns and craft items are not appropriate for this show.

Artists marketing reproduction prints of their original work must have prints clearly labeled as such. Reproductions should not comprise more than 50% of your exhibition. All work exhibited must be equivalent in quality to that depicted in application images. Images submitted must be representative of all work to be shown at Aruba Art Fair. Pure Aruba Events Foundation reserves the right to refuse space to any artist not complying with these guidelines.
